The Island and the Guest House

Belize, formerly British Honduras, is an English-speaking country located just below the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico.  Caye Caulker is a small island approximately 21 miles northeast of Belize City.

Jaguar Morning Star is the perfect place to get away. Our guesthouse is a quiet, secure and very private environment.  We are about one mile from the Belize Barrier Reef, the second largest reef in the world. There are snorkeling, diving and fishing excursions available from the island, or you can take a water taxi to the mainland for exciting day excursions.  Jaguar Morning Star is approximately 300 feet from the beach and a short walk to shops and restaurants.

Once in Belize, you can take a flight to Caye Caulker with Tropic Air or Maya Island Air from the Philip Goldson International airport, Belize (BZE), or from the municipal airport in Belize City.

You can also take a taxi from BZE to Belize City, then a water taxi out to Caye Caulker. The land taxi takes about 25 minutes and the water taxi takes about 45 minutes. When you arrive on Caye Caulker, you can grab a golf cart taxi or take a short stroll to Jaguar Morning Star.  Feel free to contact us ahead of time to help arrange transportation.
